Digital cards, paper cards, one organizing workflow
UnionX Organizing - Card Collection
Not every union organizes the same way. Some campaigns are fully digital. Some rely on field organizers and paper cards. Most are a mix of both. UnionX Organizing supports all three without forcing your team into a single workflow.
Card collection your way
Card collection that fits how your union actually organizes
UnionX Organizing does not assume your campaign is fully digital or fully paper. Run the workflow that fits your workers, your organizers, and your campaign situation. All three card paths connect to the same worker records and filing package.
Digital
Workers sign from any phone or computer. No sign-in friction.
Paper
Track paper cards and attach photos inside the same campaign record.
Hybrid
Field organizers use paper. Remote workers sign digitally. One record.
Digital cards, no friction
Digital signing without generic e-signature drag
Workers can sign cards from any phone or computer using a campaign-specific signature page. No generic DocuSign flow, no complicated account creation, no unnecessary friction between a worker and their card.
- Campaign-specific signature pages - not a generic document tool.
- Workers sign from any mobile device or computer.
- Verification workflows available where required by your labour board.
- Payment workflows available where card collection includes a dues payment.
- Signature declaration text and legal wording controlled by the campaign.
- Digital card timestamps and verification details preserved automatically.
Payment on signature
Collect the required payment as part of the card signing process
Some labour boards require a payment alongside the signed card. When a drive has a cost set, UnionX Organizing adds a payment step directly to the signing workflow - no separate tool, no manual reconciliation.
Workers pay by credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. With Apple Pay or Google Pay, it takes a single tap and a Face ID confirmation - the card is signed and the payment is done. The transaction is processed securely through Stripe and deposited directly into the union's bank account.
- Payment step added automatically when a drive has a cost set.
- Credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay accepted.
- Processed securely through Stripe - a trusted third-party payment processor.
- Deposited directly into the union's bank account.
- Payment transaction tied to the signed card - a strong, timestamped record that the required amount was collected at signing.
How it works
Worker reads the declaration and signs the card
Identity verification step completed where required
Payment collected via Stripe - tap Apple Pay or Google Pay and authenticate with Face ID, or enter card details
Funds deposited to the union's bank. Transaction record tied to the signed card.
Paper cards still matter
Field organizing means paper cards. Organizers collect signatures on worksites, in parking lots, at doors. Those cards end up in binders, back seats, and side folders - and then someone has to account for them when it matters most.
UnionX Organizing tracks paper cards inside the same campaign record as digital cards. Attach photos of signed paper cards so physical cards stay connected to the worker record and are available for the filing package.
- Track paper cards alongside digital cards in the same campaign.
- Attach photos of signed paper cards to the worker record.
- Include paper card images in labour board exports where required.
- Keep physical cards out of binders and connected to the evidence record.
Stop the per-card tax
Stop paying a per-card tax on organizing momentum
Generic e-signature tools can cost $5 to $10 per card. In a drive with hundreds of workers, that is a significant per-card overhead on every signature - applied to a tool that was built for contract signing, not union organizing.
UnionX Organizing gives unions a campaign-native card workflow: signature pages built for organizing, connected to worker records, integrated with outreach history, and ready for labour board export. Built for unions, not generic document workflows.
Ready for filing, not just signing
Card collection in UnionX Organizing is connected to the filing package from the start. Digital card timestamps, verification details, paper card photos, and card status are all part of the campaign record - not a separate export step after the fact.
- Labour board exports include digital and paper card records.
- Paper card photos included in exports where required.
- Card timestamps and verification details preserved with each record.
- All card activity connected to the worker record and filing package.
